Saturday August 31st the Fieldcrest Varsity Volleyball Team started their season in the Hall High Early
Bird Invitational. The
girls went 5-0 and defeated each team in straight sets and won the Championship.
In Pool Play Fieldcrest defeated Hall 25-9 /
25-11, Stark County 25-14 / 25-20 & Plano 25-20 / 25-16. In the Semi-Final the Knights defeated
Sherrard 25-19 /25-20 which sent them into the Finals against a very good St.
Bede team. The Lady Knights played hard
after a long day to win the Championship 25-14 / 28-26. Congratulations to all the players and
coaches. The Lady Knights open up at
home Thursday at 5:30 against Putnam County.
