Fieldcrest over powered El Paso-Gridley, 26-14, Friday night at Minonk. The Knights were led by Senior quarterback Cam Grandy who completed 13 of 15 passes, threw 2 touchdown passes, scored a touchdown on a 4 yard pass from Jaxon McKay, and ran another. Grandy also rushed for 103 yards on 15 carries.
Junior Derek May had 9 receptions for 85 yards and scored a touchdown while Freshman Jaxon Cusac-McKay had 3 catches for 37 yards and one touchdown. The Knights are now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Heart of Illinois Conference.
