The construction crew on the City's Storm Drainage project is now heading east on 4th Street and have crossed over to the east side of Lincoln Street this week. They will continue east on 4th Street to Elm Street, then north on Elm to an easement across private property at which point they will turn back to the east to Walnut Street. The route then turns south on Walnut back to 4th Street. The intersection of 4th & Walnut is the termination point for the eastern leg of the 4th Street storm sewer.
The contract calls for substantial completion of the project by October 16. The City’s engineer has indicated that Hein Construction is on schedule to meet this date.
