2nd Annual Minonk Oktoberfest Set for Sept. 23rd

The Minonk Business Association is holding its 2nd Oktoberfest on Sept. 23rd in the 400 block of Chestnut street in downtown Minonk.  We will have a fun filled day with a vendor show and chili cook off in Canon park. Set up for that starts at 9 a.m. Bags tournament starting at 1 p.m. Great live music featuring local band Free Range Chickens from 2-5, The Ray Koncar Polka Band from 5-8, and Jury's out from 8-midnight! Food from Grosenbach's Grocery starting at 11 a.m. Adult Beverages must be purchases at Minonk Lanes, Petri's Pour House, and Riff's Bar. 
There will sign up sheets for anyone who would like to be a part of the vendor show and the chili cook off at each of the businesses listed above. If there are any questions you can contact Corey Grosenbach at Grosenbach's Grocery 309-432-3465.

Stillwell Richard: According to the flier, the judges for the Chili cook off will be whomever samples the Chili. My question is, how is this possible. At the BBQ Contest a while back, they were not allowed to sell or give their product to the public.
