Wednesday, August 08, 2012 - Posted 5:33:28 PM
Dr. Naik is proud to welcome two new dentists into his growing practice, Dr. Patrick Hamper and Dr. Stephanie Hamper. They are a husband and wife team. Dr. Naik will be hosting an Open House on Monday, August 20th, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at his Toluca office at 203 East Santa Fe Street. Both Patrick and Stephanie are excited about working with Dr. Naik and looking forward to meeting everyone. Mark your calendar and stop by and meet both Dr. Patrick and Dr. Stephanie on August 20th.
They met each other in dental school and graduated in the same class from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2008. After graduation, Patrick practiced for two years in Barrington, Illinois, and Stephanie practiced in Chicago. Out of the blue one day, while Patrick was working in Barrington, the dentist he was working with asked him if he and Stephanie would like to run an office he was opening in Honolulu, Hawaii. Patrick and Stephanie were thrilled with the opportunity and jumped at the chance for an adventure. They feel blessed that they had the chance to live and work in Hawaii and have made the most of it. Both of them will miss the staff and patients they have had the pleasure to meet and serve. They will also miss all of the wonderful people and places they have grown to love in Hawaii. But, Patrick and Stephanie have missed their friends and family, and are ready to move back home to Illinois and settle down.
They chose this practice in Toluca because they wanted to find a great community where they could spend the rest of their lives. When they first met Dr. Naik, they were thrilled to see his passion and enthusiasm. It was clear that he cares very much for his patients, and that matches Patrick and Stephanie's practice philosophy as well.
Patrick grew up in the Chicago suburbs where he enjoyed playing high school golf and tennis. He then went to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana to study Biology. He enjoys golfing, fishing, reading, financial planning, and watching the Cubs and Bears. Patrick also is a compulsive learner and has a passion for learning all there is to know about dental implants. He flies to Atlanta, GA to study once a month from Hawaii. What he loves most about the class is that he gets to learn from world renowned experts in the field and has logged over 300 hours in continuing education on the subject.
Stephanie hails from Mt. Zion, Illinois, where her family still lives. She grew up showing horses. Stephanie felt right at home when first visiting Toluca and Minonk. She says it reminds her of Kincaid, where her Italian grandmother grew up. She performed her undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where she was accepted to the accelerated program and finished her degree and dental training in only 7 years. Stephanie enjoys working with patients of all ages, but especially children and teens. She is a strong proponent of preventive dentistry. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and making crafts.
Patrick and Stephanie are looking forward to the next phase of their lives, and are excited to move back to Illinois and meet their new community.
