WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cadet Grant Kirkpatrick, son of Alice and Joe Kirkpatrick of Minonk,Il. graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 26, 2012.
Kirkpatrick graduated from Fieldcrest High School in 2008. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in American history. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Infantry branch and will report to Fort Benning,GA. for his first assignment, where he will attend officer training and Ranger school. He will then be posted in Hawaii.
