Minonk election results

Minonk area voters approved the ambulance levy for Minonk Fire Protection District in Tuesday's election with a vote of 270 for and 142 against but the 1 percent sales tax for school facilities was turned down by Woodford County voters with 2,802 Yes votes to 3,935 No votes.
In other results, Ron Seggerman, Allen Rients, Larry Meils, and John Marcoline were elected to the Minonk Township Board. Pat Copp was elected to the position of Minonk Township Supervisor over Rich Luckey by a vote of 233 to 158.
In the uncontested Minonk City election Mayor Bill Koos, Councilmen Larry Fortner and Russell Ruestman were re-elected and Todd Cremer was elected to replace outgoing Keri Carls in Ward 3.
