The Minonk area will be voting for city aldermen and Fieldcrest Board of Education members in Tuesday's election.
For city alderman, in Ward 1 Jonathan Stears will be running unopposed to replace the vacancy left by John Marcoline who is not running for re-election. In Ward 2, Trent Ruestman is running unopposed for the seat he now holds after being appointed due to the resignation of Ronald Marshall. In Ward 3, Lisa Junker and Steven Omiotek are running to fill the seat of Nick Caverra who is not seeking re-election.
For the Fieldcrest Board of Education, Jordan Meyer, Heather McKay and Scott Hillenburg from Minonk and Joseph Stasell from Toluca are candidates for 3 seats on the board that will replace Joe Kirkpatrick and Tim McNamara who are not running for re-election and for Scott Hillenburg who is running for re-election.
