Former Minonk resident and Fieldcrest graduate Dan Klendworth was one of the members of a firefighter team that won first place in Springfield’s first “Fight for Air Climb,” in which a team of firefighters climb 30 floors of stairs with heavy gear.  Dan and 3 others on the Jacksonville Fire Department  had the best time.
