The Fieldcrest Education Association is sponsoring a Meet the
Candidates Night on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 7:00 PM. It will be held in the
Fieldcrest High School cafeteria. This event is designed to allow interested
residents of the district the opportunity to become better-informed voters in
the Fieldcrest School Board election.
The prospective Fieldcrest Board of Education candidates are
Thomas Barth, Heidi Cook, Tammi Coons, Jeffery Geringer, Darren Hester, Scott
Hillenburg, Patrick McGuane, Timothy McNamara, Linda Regnier, Eric Schultz, and
Gary Wolf. They are running for four positions on the board.
The evening will be divided into two sections. The first half
will be a formal response time in which all candidates will have an opportunity
to share their visions, goals, and priorities for the future of the Fieldcrest
District. During this time members of the audience may write questions they
would like answered on paper. After a fifteen-minute intermission, FEA
moderators will prsent questions written by the audience to the
candidates.
The FEA sincerely hopes that many residents of the district
will take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the views of each
candidate and to become better-informed voters.
