A new restaurant opened in downtown Minonk last week.  The Sunrise Cafe at 456 N. Chestnut Street is run by Dawn and Sam Dabrowski of Benson.

The restaurant hours are 6 - 8 on T-W-Th-Sun and 6 - 9 on Friday and Saturday.  They are closed on Monday.  Their menu includes a Senior special and three meal specials each day.  Soups are made fresh daily. 

Other specials include all you can eat chicken for $6.95 on Wednesday nights and all you can eat fish for $6.95 on Friday nights.  Kids can eat free from the children's menu if accompanied by an adult between 4 and 8 on Tuesday's and Thursday's.
