Minonk Ambulance Squad providing EKGs

February is Go Red For Women month through the American Heart Association. This month is focused on raising awareness for the number one yearly killer of women, heart disease. As healthcare providers we understand the dire need to promote awareness. So this Thursday, February 28, at the ambulance garage from 8am to 5 pm the ambulance squad is offering to run EKGs for the women of Minonk (for a very small donation, to cover supplies to do this).
Getting a baseline EKG can be very hard to get through family physicians. This will allow women to have a copy for themselves and for their doctors. Flyers are posted at the bank, Casey's, Meyer Jochums, and the grocery store.
