Rutherford Release on Gov's intercepted audio tapes

SPRINGFIELD, ILThe federally intercepted audio communications of Gov. Blagojevich talking with his advisors have now been made available to the public, according to State Senator Dan Rutherford (R-Pontiac).


 
Rutherford is making the tapes and transcripts available on his Web site, www.DanRutheford.com and on his Facebook profile. The Senator is also continuing to provide daily video updates about the latest trial proceedings and those can be found on the Senator’s Web site as well.

 

Early morning testimony at the impeachment trial of Gov. Rod Blagojevich included verification of FBI transcripts of wiretaps on the Governor's offices.  The transcripts were read into the court record by House Prosecutor David Ellis and affirmed by FBI Special Agent Daniel Cain.
