WTVP is giving students the opportunity to win prizes for using their creative writing talents!
Students in kindergarten through grade 3 can participate in the WTVP PBS KIDS Writers Contest. They
not only build literacy skills and engage their imaginations, but may also win prizes.
Here are the details for student entry into the WTVP PBS KIDS Writers Contest:
- The contest is open to kids in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
- You can find information, entry forms and rules at http://www.wtvp.org/contest
- Make sure to send each student entry along with a unique entry form to WTVP Writers Contest,
101 State Street, Peoria, IL 61602, by the contest deadline: Friday, April 6, 2018.
- Winners will be notified by May 4, 2018.
Winners and their families will be invited to participate in an exciting party held at WTVP studios in June.
They will receive the opportunity to read their stories, win prizes, and have a lot of fun!
