Springfield – As lawmakers prepare to return to Springfield for the start of the 2006 Legislative Session, State Senator Dan Rutherford (R-Pontiac) is asking Illinoisans to complete his online survey, and share their opinion on important Illinois issues.

Senator Rutherford is directing residents to www.DanRutherford.com (Take our Survey) and encouraging them to complete the brief opinion survey on his Senate website. He explained that he looks forward to receiving feedback from the public, which enables him to more effectively serve his constituents in Springfield.

“I invite every member of every household to complete the survey,” said Rutherford. “The more feedback I receive, the better. If my constituents let me know what issues are important to them, I will be better able to represent them when I return to Springfield in January.”

Senator Rutherford noted that all information provided is confidential, and will not be shared with commercial enterprises. He also said that residents who have additional thoughts or comments that they would like to share with him are welcome to send him an email directly at DanRutherford@DanRutherford.com .
