William “Billy” A. Watts, 55, St. Joseph, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. 

Mr. Watts was born August 13, 1952 in Waukeegan, Illinois. He lived most of his life in St. Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Merle and Laura Lavern (Hollopeter) Watts.

Mr. Watts loved to play the harmonica, go fishing, shoot guns and work with computers.  He was a wonderful family man who was loving to all and never knew a stranger.  Billy was always willing to help others whenever he could.

(Survivors;) soul mate of 19 years, Patty Chaffin; children, Michael Zeleznik and his wife Christina of Illinois, Heather (Watts) Weber of Illinois, Matthew Wenger and his wife Emily of Illinois, Daryl Watts of St. Joseph, Keli Jo (Watts) Ross of St. Joseph, Casandra Chaffin of St. Joseph, Emily Bunch of Rushville, Missouri, Billie Lu Watts of Rushville, Missouri, Jimmy Watts of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Troy Zeleznik, Nick and Hayden Clements, Madie and Jack Weber, Hannah, William, Marilee and Matty Wenger, Trevor O’Connell, Kelsee Kissick, Kaleb Watts, Diamond and Shado Ross, Dezmon Greer, Daniel Lee Bucher, and Lexy Bunch; sisters, Floretta Dorssom of Kansas, Jean Ann McGuire of Illinois, Margaret Baker of Kansas, Bonnie Cuthbertson of Michigan, Rosie Nieves of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
