Vaughn E. "Kubby" Vogt, 38, Minonk, died Tuesday (March 11, 2008) from injuries sustained in a car fire in rural Wenona.

Funeral: service of remembrance, 11 a.m. Saturday at Rutland Christian Church, with the Rev. Gary Hindgardner officiating. Elias Funeral Home, Streator, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be made to his family.

Survivors: his wife, Kori Cosby Vogt, Minonk; two sons, Maddux Vogt and Tyler Cosby, both at home; his father, Victor Vogt, Downers Grove; his mother, Donna Mereda, Cleveland, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Norma Oviatte; and a sister, Valerie Vogt, Florida.
