 John R. McKay, 75, of Minonk, died at 10:14 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 16, 2016) at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home, Peoria.
Service: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk. Franciscan friars will officiate.
Burial: St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Minonk.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk, and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church. A rosary service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Alex and Bryce McKay or Mass offerings.
Survivors: his wife, Kay McKay; his children, Tim (Jan) McKay, Eureka; Tom (Tami) McKay and John (Kimberly) McKay, both of Minonk; and Kim (Tom) Colburn, Secor; and eight grandchildren.
