Obituary

Michael L. McCormick, 67, of Minonk, passed away at 11:18 a.m. Wednesday (March 28, 2018) at his home.

Private family services will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Easter Seals of Central Illinois.

Michael was born June 30, 1950, in Pontiac, a son to William P. and Phyllis F. Goliwas McCormick. He married Sue Siebenmark in Morton. She preceded him in death in 1993.

Surviving are a son, Chad (Katy) McCormick, Minonk; grandson, Joe Dohleman, Minonk; brother, Bill (Linda) McCormick, Brownstown, Ind.; and sister, Tammy Nohren, Sacramento, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his faithful bulldogs.

Michael proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He later worked for Caterpillar Inc. in Mossville for over 30 years.

He was a loving father, always happy and ready for a drink and friendship. "Tootles," see you on the other side.
