Jean Eleanor Ketchmark, 87, of Minonk, passed away at 6 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 3, 2008) at her residence.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Minonk. Father Neri Greskoviak will officiate. Burial will be in Minonk Township Cemetery. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk, is handling arrangements for the family.

She was born on April 14, 1921, in Maroa, a daughter of Frank and Loris Palmer Meils. She married Joseph Ketchmark on Aug. 23, 1941. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Jill Goodwin of Chicago; Janan (Edward) Cheskis, Riverwoods; two sisters, Blanche Kraut, Pecatonica; Alice Loftus, Gig Harbor, Wash.; four grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Goodwin; Jay and Ben Cheskis; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Catherine Goodwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
