Easy Hearty Salsa Bean Soup

Brown 1 pound lean ground beef with one chopped onion in large, heavy pot. Drain off excess fat. Add: 1 can whole kernel corn 1 can black beans, drained (This is the only one I drained.) 1 can kidney beans 1 can Northern beans 1 can diced tomatoes 1 can low sodium chicken broth 1 or more tablespoons chili powder 2 or more ounces mild salsa garlic powder and black pepper to taste Simmer and stir often until bubbling and flavors have mixed well. You can use as little or as much salsa, chili powder, garlic powder and black pepper as you prefer. Serves 6 or 8. Approximately 403 calories each if 6 servings and 303 if 8 servings.
