Kristin manning took these pictures around 3:30pm on Sunday 6/15/08 after a short storm in Minonk.

Kristin said she heard a very loud boom, and when she looked outside, she saw this tree across the street from her house (420 Maple Ave).

The lightning struck and went right through the tree, throwing pieces of tree bark all over.
